Maize Genetics Executive Committee: Activities, 2005

Worked with the National Corn Growers Association to help them communicate the importance of maize genome sequence to scientists and farmers.

Contributed to the Cereal Genomics course at Cold Spring Harbor in September, 2005. The initial idea for the course came from the Maize Executive Committee.

Organized and edited a maize genomics section for Current Opinions in Plant Biology in which three members of the MGEC contributed.
